Canadian police forces, once again...
...bend over and grab their suckass politically correct ankles...
Windsor, Ont.'s chief of police has publicly apologized to the city's Islamic community after officers who arrested two Muslim men wanted for alleged involvement in a radical Islamist group offended and embarrassed the men's families in the process.Yeah... let's make sure we don't hurt any of these people's feelings.
Police would not provide details of the offensive actions.
That's the most important thing here.

UPDATE: Chief Fuzzy-Bunny tries again
Smith emphasized that he does not think ESU members did anything wrong and that officer and public safety supersedes cultural concerns. But, despite no evidence of wrong-doing... he isn't apologising to the officers he slandered. And looky here... he's also bringing an Imam in to sensitise the "innocent" coppers.
“The apology is coming from me, because I don’t blame my officers for anything there,” Smith said. “They acted in good faith.”
Oh, Canada.

RELATED: "Feelings... nothing more than feelings"
The key aspects of this psychobabble include an overemphasis on "self-esteem" at the expense of self-control and personal responsibility; an attitude that practically worships "feelings" at the expense of reason and truth.**********
LAST WORD: They're baaaaaa-aaaack...
"Thank you once again for your support of the "Georgies". Remember free speech & blasphemy are your rights, exercise them and have yourself some good old-fashioned Offensive Fun!"*

Makes me sick.
Makes me physically ill.
Make me want to scream.
Fekking dhimmi police chief.
And if Khan and Al-Sahli are found guilty we can count on the Islamic community apologizing for the offensive and embarrassing Muslims in their community?...led of course by the good Dr. Murad Atkas...meh, I'm not gonna hold my breath.

lemme see... their religion of peace "imam" is killed in a firefight with detroit fbi... but we go to pick them up... should treat them & theirs with kid gloves?
and how does any apology extend to the whole freakin community anyway?

Well, one thing I found positive from that story were the comments. The vast majority were definitely critical of the Chief's mealy mouthed apology to the families. I am so sick of having to kow tow to "sensitivity".
He should fired, and any cop forced to take sensibility courses should sue them for millions. I'm sick of this bull shite and this cop makes my skin crawl.

Hey, it's racist Rose! Did you have fun in London this week? Doing this? Meanwhile white crime goes unnoticed here at the halls of hate.
Rose is aboriginal, GritSup.

i'm gonna let that last liberal supporter comment stand... just to show what an idiot he is.
his latest little stunt... where he pretended to be a woman and accused me of stalking him/her was also similarly moronic.
what a pathetic little puss.

The mayor was behind the apology, as he is of Lebanese heritage and a prick.
Well anon to me the issue has nothing to do with race but Islamic Supremacism, I don't like any group being treated superior to the masses. I believe in equality not racial supremacy based of PCness and yes I'm half native.
Name me one other group that demands that our police and immigration officials/governments demand they be trained in Arab Culture and Muslim sensitivity courses?
When 90 percent of CBC posters' agree with me we have a problem with the supremacists.

it's time to get a police chief who hasn't "been fixed"... maybe this guy here...
"This isn’t a cultural issue,” said Ed Parent, president of the Windsor Police Association and a former tactical officer. “These officers had a warrant to arrest someone. They went in, and they arrested this person."
main post updated... per reader simeon.

Mayor Eddie Francis(Lebanese heritage) was behind the apology.
Then what do expect from a city where the CAW protests Remembrance Day.
