You beat a homeless septuagenarian to death... in a cemetery... you think people might be a little more concerned...
Merhawi Tekle is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of 71-year-old Donald Constantine Jackson. He appeared in court Wednesday morning and has been remanded to custody, said Detective Mike Barsky.Funny how, some armed gangbanger gets shot by cops... the media goes into a prolonged feeding frenzy... but, this guy... no big deal.
Mr. Jackson, who police had previously identified incorrectly as 61-year-old Benson Smith, was living in the Scarborough Hope Centres shelter when he was killed.

For one thing the police didn't shoot Mr. Jackson so the MSM wouldn't be able to retell this story for a couple of weeks...the nasty deed was done by a poor fellow with self esteem issues and his childhood was terrible...and now we can give him a group hug and send him off to councilling because we understand that Mr. Jackson must have done something to this poor misunderstood person for him to go off on him. I dunno I think that the MSM must think that John Q. Public is stupid.

BELLEVILLE, Ont. — A man in Belleville, Ont., has been admonished by police after making a prank call to a Texas-based Prayer Line.
The Prayer Line called police in Texas after receiving a message from a man who said he had just killed his children.
Texas police called Canadian colleagues and the call was traced to a residence in Belleville’s north end.
City police and a tactical team went to the home at 10:30 p.m. Sunday and the homeowner admitted he had made the call.
He told officers he had been drinking and was frustrated with the message the prayer line was delivering on TV.
He was cautioned and advised that any further calls to the line would result in criminal charges.
